About: Shannon
Shannon is in a word; odd. She has lots of opinions, ideas and off the wall thoughts, and enjoys sharing them with anyone who will listen. Given that most of her friends and associates leave the room at a brisk pace when she enters, and no longer listen to her spread her wisdom for hours on end she thinks a blog would be a perfect place to do so. Especially a blog about her first loves sci-fi and fantasy
Shannon is a writer, mostly of fantasy but she ventures into other genres when the mood hits her. She is working on her first novel and several short stories now and you will undoubtedly hear a lot about them.
She also enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing Devil’s Advocate for a society that sorely needs it. She enjoys long walks and romantic dinners. Oh, wait, she forgot, this is not a Playboy spread. She actually hates walking and finds romantic dinners boring. She actually likes movies where things explode and characters develop, and she finds a sharp mind and strong opinions to be the best quality in the people she knows. She would also like to add that most of what she says should be taken as a joke. God knows no one else takes her seriously so you shouldn’t either.
Shannon usually despises people who refer to themselves in the third person but she’s made an exception for herself and this particular blurb, hopefully it won’t happen again.
